Kacaba brings out lots of fun sweet flavours in this dry sipping Chardonnay while the resting on lees adds more depth and complexity to the wine – giving barrel flavours without the use of oak. The nose has plenty of vanilla and caramel, which are wrapped around overripe banana nuances. The taste brings buttery-toffee onto the tongue, with unripe tropical fruit, wrapped up in a vanilla blanket. I didn’t find the acidity too high, but the taste definitely has fun written all over it.
